Nagios System Monitoring on Ubuntu Debian Linux

To install Nagios packages including typical plugins and addons: 
  apt-get install nagios3, nagios3-common, nagios3-doc, nagios-plugins
  apt-get install nagios-nrpe-plugin, nagios-nrpe-server
  apt-get install nagios-statd-client, nagios-statd-server
  apt-get install nagios-images, nagiosgrapher
  apt-get install ndoutils-nagios3-mysql
Nagios configuration files are here: 
  /etc/nagios3/
  /etc/nagiosgrapher/
  /etc/nagios-plugins/
Nagios system binaries are here: 
  /usr/sbin/nagios3
  /usr/sbin/nagios3stats
  /usr/sbin/nagios-statd
  /usr/sbin/nagiosgrapher
Nagios CGI binaries are here: 
  /usr/lib/cgi-bin/nagios3/
  /usr/lib/cgi-bin/nagiosgrapher/
